What is Tree Adventure Furano?

Tree Adventure Furano is a 19-stage outdoor obstacle course set among the trees behind the New Furano Prince Hotel. You’ll make your way across rope bridges, test your balance on wobbly obstacles, and zip through the trees with the wind in your face.

We liked how it felt adventurous without being overwhelming. The setting is lush and green, everything is well cared for, and since it’s just a short stroll from the hotel lobby, it’s an easy activity to fit into your stay.

What to Expect

A ropes course is set up high among tall trees in a forest at Tree Adventure Furano, featuring wooden platforms, bridges, and obstacle elements with lush greenery surrounding the area.

The course is designed for beginners and families rather than thrill-seekers. Expect rope ladders, simple ziplines, and log crossings that encourage balance and focus.

  • Family-friendly but with age limits: Children around 8 years and older will enjoy it most. Younger kids may find some of the balance challenges difficult.
  • Duration: The full course takes about 45 minutes to an hour, depending on confidence and pace.
  • Safety first: Helmets and harnesses are provided, and staff help gear you up and explain the rules.
  • Seasonal hours: The course runs during daylight, with last entry at 4:30 PM in summer. Hours change by season, so confirm in advance.
