What Makes the HEP FIVE Ferris Wheel Special

The HEP FIVE Ferris Wheel is hard to miss in Umeda. Painted bright red and perched on top of a shopping center, it’s one of the few rooftop Ferris wheels in Japan. We’d seen it many times before finally deciding to ride, and it turned out to be one of our favorite ways to take in Osaka’s cityscape.

Here’s why it stands out:

  • Iconic rooftop setting: The wheel sits on the 7th floor of the HEP FIVE shopping center.
  • Panoramic views: You can spot Osaka Bay on clear days.
  • Comfortable cabins: Air-conditioned and heated, making it a good option year-round.
